Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the age of 92 years.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories her devoted husband of 70 wonderful years filled with love Gordon. Her adored daughters: Diane Butler -LeBlanc (grand – dog Gigi) and Yvonne (Leslie) Dawe; her cherished grandchildren: Stacey (Johnathan) Dawe and Corey (Terri) Dawe and her precious great grandchildren: Madeleine, Rachel, Nathaniel and Kevin. Also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. As well as fellow residences and the staff of Hillcrest Retirement Home, your friendship, compassion and care shown to our Mom meant everything to her.
Margaret will always be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Her smile could light up a room. Together with Gordon they raised their two daughters with love, faith, friendship and support. Margaret was so proud of her daughters and loved them with her entire heart.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mount Pearl on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 -9:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel.
Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
