On January 3, 2025, Mrs. Margaret “Maggie” Houle of Goodfish Lake passed away at the age of 84 years. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Sandra, Carrie, Amy & Tracy (Rick) Rosychuk; 6 sons, Martin Cardinal, Ben (Myra), Daniel (Faye Buffalo), Bobby (Cassie Jackson), Stan (Fran Shirt) & Jim (Jen Ladouceur); 48 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 4 special sisters, Louisa Collins, Georgina Half, Murial Beaudry & Eunice Thompson; numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Houle was predeceased by her husband, Allan; parents, Isaac & Irene Jackson; sisters, Connie & Bernice; sister-in-infancy, Evangeline; daughter-in-law, Beverly; baby Lawrence Cardinal, baby Renny Houle & baby Marcus Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Thursday & Friday, January 9 & 10 (leaving Grace Gardens at 3:30 p.m.) at Pakan Elementary School, Goodfish Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Pakan Elementary School, Goodfish Lake. Reverend Billy Jackson will be officiating with interment in Goodfish Lake Community Cemetery, Goodfish Lake.
