It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our beloved mom Margaret (Marg) Havers on February 18th at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of 53 years to the late James (Jim) Havers (2005). Her memory will be cherished by her children, Michael (Debra), Donna (Ray), Paul, and Cathryn. Dear grandmother to Mark, Shannon, Scott (Regan), Marissa, Colin (Melissa and great grandchild Ellie), Zach, Emily, and Jill.
Predeceased by her son Ken, her parents Harry and Margaret (nee McGovern), and by her sister Carol.
Mom lived a beautiful life, enjoying everything it had to offer with so many special friends. Be it golfing, playing cards, gardening, vacationing in the sun, or enjoying a nice glass of wine and listening to Neil Diamond.
She poured her love and support into her 5 children, and for that we are forever grateful.
A very special thank you to the staff at Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care, for the incredible compassion and care they gave her in her final weeks.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
