Elaine Knudson
July 10, 1936 – January 29, 2025
Margaret Elaine Knudson (nee Baker) passed away January 29, 2025 at St Lawrence Lodge. Beloved wife of the late John Knudson. Loved by son Reginald (Jennifer) and granddaughters Rose and Meg. The daughter of Clifford Baker and Ruth Laushway, she was predeceased by brother Donald and sister Jean. Elaine was a proud resident of Cardinal. She spent her career at the Canada Starch Company, starting as secretary and rising to National Traffic Manager. Elaine was always stylishly dressed. John and Elaine loved to dance, travel and be with friends. Coming from a small town, John and Elaine were able to see a lot of the world. They were fortunate to be part of a circle of friends who travelled to all the dances in the region. Thank you to all the staff of the second floor of St. Lawrence Lodge for the exceptional care and affection you showed Elaine.
