Marcey Berens Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Marcey Nadine Berens at the age of 32 years old on May 17, 2025, at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Marcey leaves behind her children; Charles and Mara Berens, Micheal and Justine Bittern, Freya Berens, and children she counted as her own, Sienna and Miriam Bittern.
She also leaves to cherish her memory, her husband; Justin Bittern, her sisters; Tina, Rose, Rae, and Beatrice Eaglestick, Norma Jean Sinclair and Alannah Berens. Her brothers; Maurice, Charlie, and Steve Eaglestick, special cousins (siblings); Nicole Flett, Rose, Lorena, Delphine, Delbert, Robbie and Delilah Bittern. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marcey is predeceased by her parents, Mary Susan Chartrand, and Norman Berens, Grandparents; Sandy and Mary Berens, Mike and Maggie Leveque, and her aunt who raised her; Jessie Bittern. Her siblings; Carol Hamilton, Matthew Leveque, and Brenda Eaglestick. Her four angel babies whom she lost by miscarriages/stillbirths, numerous aunts, uncles, and many more family members that are too much to mention.
Marcey was a kind and caring person. She loved all her children with all her heart and those who were in her life. She will be missed dearly.
The family would like to say thanks for the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Berens River Chief and Council, Little Grand Rapids Chief and Council, Eternal Grace Funeral Home, Bernice Berens, and all who helped and supported through this difficult time.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 7PM – 11PM at Eternal Grace Funerals, 1111 Logan Ave. Funeral service will follow on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11AM also at Eternal Grace Funerals. Cher Kesic-Swain will be conducting both services. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery
