Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de Marcel Vallière, à l’âge de 76 ans, le jeudi 8 mai 2025, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner.
Marcel était un homme très sociable qui aimait faire rire les gens. Il était un passionné de menuiserie et aimait passer du temps avec sa famille. Il est peut-être mieux connu pour avoir été le président de la section locale 89 du syndicat pendant de nombreuses années.
Marcel manquera beaucoup à son épouse, Christine Burrough, et à ses enfants : Sylvie Vallière (Luc Dussault) et Julie Vallière (Daniel Séguin) ; ses beaux-enfants : Adam Swanson (Iwona Twarog), et David Swanson (Erin Gawley) ; ses petits-enfants : Daniel (Isabelle), Stéphanie, Shannon, Shawna, Marcel, Amanda (Brad), et Christopher ; et ses arrière-petits-enfants : Michael, Samuel, Zachary, Mystelle, Liam et Amelia.
Marcel fut prédécédé par un fils, Roger.
Un service funéraire aura lieu au cimetière de Kapuskasing à une date ultérieure. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à Diabète Canada comme témoignages de sympathie.
La famille remercie le Dr Plamondon, les infirmières et le personnel de soutien de l’hôpital Sensenbrenner pour les excellents soins et la compassion dont Marcel a fait l’objet. ©
We regret to announce the death of Marcel Vallière, at the age of 76 years, on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Sensenbrenner Hospital.
Marcel was a social butterfly who loved to make people laugh. He was an avid woodworker who loved to spend time with his family. He is perhaps best known for having been the president of union local 89 for many years.
Marcel will be greatly missed by his wife, Christine Burrough; his children: Sylvie Vallière (Luc Dussault), and Julie Vallière (Daniel Séguin); his stepchildren: Adam Swanson (Iwona Twarog), and David Swanson (Erin Gawley); his grandchildren: Daniel (Isabelle), Stéphanie, Shannon, Shawna, Marcel, Amanda (Brad), and Christopher; and his great-grandchildren: Michael, Samuel, Zachary, Mystelle, Liam, and Amelia.
Marcel was predeceased by one son, Roger.
A graveside service will be held at the Kapuskasing Cemetery at a later date. The family will greatly appreciate donations to Diabetes Canada as expressions of sympathy.
The family extends many thanks to Dr. Plamondon, the nurses and support staff of Sensenbrenner Hospital for their excellent care and compassion shown towards Marcel. ©
