It is with great sadness that Marcel’s family announces his passing on January 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Shirley Ann for 60 years. Dearest father of Denis and Suzanne. Cherished Pépé of Joshua (Vanessa), Lexi (Shawn). Great Pépé of Ava Marie. Dear uncle of Donald B. Brother-in-law of Barry and Carole Pynn, Roger and Ruth Thibert, Maurice Campeau (the late Marlene), Denise (the late Edward), the late Robert and Betty Thibert. Predeceased by his siblings Jeanine, Gilbert and Jackie.
Marcel was a firefighter for 35 years with the Windsor Fire Department. He retired as a Captain in 1999. After retirement, Marcel enjoyed woodworking, playing cards and dining out with his wife.
f you so desire, donations to Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, Ontario Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Association, or Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Families First, LaSalle, 2130 Front Road (519-969-5841).
Cremation to follow.
