Manuel DaRosa was born in São Roque, Pico, Azores, Portugal on January 3, 1955, to Manuel and Maria DaRosa.
In 1963, when Manuel was 8 years old, the DaRosa family moved to Castlegar, British Columbia.
Manuel met the lovely Susan, and they were married on September 21, 1977.
He worked as a truck driver hauling oil and oilfield equipment for many years. In his free time, he loved riding his motorcycle, often travelling to visit friends and family.
Manuel passed away on December 28, 2024, at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 69 years.
Manuel is lovingly remembered by his children, Lisa (Colin), Joseph (Margot) and Jesse; grandchildren, Colby, Carson, and Kennedy; his sister, Maria (Ross); nieces and nephews, Tina, Joseph, and Amanda.
He is predeceased by his wife, Susan DaRosa; and his parents, Manuel and Maria DaRosa.
