It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Malka Poliwoda on January 7, 2025 in Toronto, Ontario. She was born on May 01, 1922 was a beloved wife to Eliahu Sholom Poliwoda”Z”L” and a loving mother to Andy and Joe, mother-in-law to Shelley, grandmother to Rachel and Aaron, great grandmother to Winter, Jonah and Clayton.
Malka will be remembered for her kind and gentle nature, her love of life, and her generous heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Thank you to the staff of the Downsview Long Term Care nursing home for enhancing her quality of life in her final years.
Funeral services will be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery, 986 Wilson Ave., Toronto, ON, Section 10, on Friday January 10th,2025 at 11:00 A.M.
