“Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Maggi. Maggi passed away peacefully at Thomson Centre with her son Harley by her side.
During her life she resided mainly in Fort Nelson and Prince George, and finally came home to the Yukon. Maggi had various jobs but ultimately retired from CNT/Northwestel as a toll operator.
Maggi is survived by her son Harley, brother John, half-sisters Anita & Roberta, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She is predeceased by mother, Edith (McDonald) Birmingham Bennett, father Mike Birmingham, brothers Michael and Douglas, stepfather Ernie Bennett and half-sister Sheila.
Maggi’s greatest loves were her son Harley, companions Katie & Marmalade, her family and closest friend Lynee.
At Maggi’s wishes, there will not be a Celebration of Life, and her ashes will be spread in the Yukon. Donations in Maggi’s memory can be sent to the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter.
