After a life well lived, we are saddened to announce the passing of Mady on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in her 105th year. She is now reunited with her husband, Gene (2009). Loving mother of Carol (Dennis Carr), Joey (predeceased) and John (predeceased) (Correne). Devoted grandmother of Michael (Linda), Scott (Wendy), Elizabeth (Robbie), Joanne (Sean), Joey, and Spencer. Great-Grandmother of Andrew (Laura), Austin (Beth), Amelia, Emerson, Hannah, Jaxon, and Aedan. Great-Great-Grandmother of Carter, Luna, Beau and Reese. Mady will be fondly remembered by her sister, Flory (late Paul), and her sister-in-law, Agnes McDougall (late Leo). Mady will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family both in Ontario and on the East Coast. She is predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Elizabeth McDougall, and eleven of her siblings.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Parish, 4072 New St, Burlington on Monday, February 17 at 11a.m. A private interment will follow at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to either , or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
