On March 11, 2025, Lynne Helfrich, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Pincher Creek Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Lynne is survived by her sons Kevin (Sandy) and Cameron (Sandra), her grandchildren Kory (Marin), Breanne (Tyler), Travis, and Raychel; great-grandchildren Rayna, and Reese; her siblings Mark, Delane, Doran, Laurie, Janice, and Phillip.
Lynne was predeceased by her husband Chris, infant son Terence, her parents Arlyne and Lynn Meldrum, and her best friend and sister-in-law Rose Dirk.
Lynne began her career in nursing in 1961, taking a leave of absence to raise her family. She returned to her career in 1982 at the Pincher Creek Hospital, where she would devote 25 years of service, retiring in 2007. After retiring, she would continue to volunteer at Vista Village, continuing her commitment to caring for others.
Lynne had many hobbies which included cross stitching, crocheting and knitting, and ceramics, which she lovingly made. She even made personalized Christmas stockings for all of her family.
Lynne will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all of her friends and family.
A family gathering will be arranged at a later date.
