PEACHEY – Luke Frederick
Passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home on Friday February 28, 2025, at the age of 95 years. Born in London “Stepney”, England (as a proud Cockney). Luke grew up during the second world war, he enlisted in the Royal Navy and served for 7 years on destroyers and minesweepers. Luke immigrated to Canada in 1957. Beloved father of Nadine Dwinnell (Merv), step father of Kathryn Bouchard and Cheryl Martin. Much loved “Papa Che Che” of Robert and Kristian Harland, Tyler and Braeden Dwinnell and Kristoffer and Gordon Bouchard. Great grandfather of Kristian Jr. and Niam Harland, Clair and Joshua, Wednesday and Ivan Bouchard. Luke will be forever remembered by family and friends both in Canada and England. He is the past President of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 605, St. George. The family will receive friends at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road n. Brantford on Saturday March 8, 2025 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday March 9, 2025 at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. For those wishing to view the services virtually you are invited to follow the link below at 1 pm on Saturday. Donations may be made in memory of Luke to the Brant County SPCA or Alzheimer’s Society.
