Lorraine was born in Markinch, SK on Nov. 1, 1933 and passed away suddenly Jan. 1, 2025 at the Sturgeon Hospital, St. Albert, AB, at the age of 91 years.
Lorraine leaves to cherish her memory, daughter-in-law, Pam; son, Kelly (Kim); grandchildren, Karlie, Kelsey (Ryan), Kyle (Chelsie), Christopher (Jackie); great-grandchildren, Trent, Lux, Bear, Ezria, Aubrey, Emily and Rook; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends Diane Marsh (cousin) and Dorothy Emerson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jerome, her son, Garnet; parents, Frieda and George Ursaki and sister Elinor.
Lorraine moved from Regina to Sherwood Park in 1974 by way of husband Jerome’s job transfer. They made many great friends in Sherwood Park as well as in Mesa, AZ, where they spent 23 years as snowbirds. She was a special person, always positive, cheerful and a friend to all. She will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2025, at Connelly-McKinley Edmonton South, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton.
