BOUCHER – Lorraine, passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home on Wednesday March 19th, 2025, at the age of 90. Daughter of the late William Proctor Sr. and the late Mary Ellen Loughlin. Predeceased by her beloved Husband of 69 years, Alger Boucher. Loving Mother to Ronald Boucher (Lorene) of Thunder Bay, Jerome “Jed” Boucher (Angel) of Nova Scotia, and Sheri-Lynn Commission (George) of Espanola. Cherished Grandma/Nona to Noel Boucher (Tammy), Lisa Klimkowski (Art), Amber Boucher (Lee-Ann Mirka), Jeremy Boucher (Chantee), Krista Commission (Steve Robinson) and Jessica Graham (Bill). Fondly remembered by great-grandchildren: Owen, Owen, Hannah, Toby, Ryan, Ava, Ben, Aurora, Skyler, Silas, Maren and Elora. Loving sister to Donna Beauchamp (late Lawrence), John Proctor (Eileen), Brian Proctor (Colette) and Marlene Lippold (late Allan). Predeceased by William Proctor (late Florence), Nora Coad, Joanne Halliday (late Marty), and Betty Coburn. Predeceased by Daughter in Law Michele Kauferstein-Boucher. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on March 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Espanola United Church, followed immediately after with a luncheon in the church basement. The family would like to thank Extendicare York, Espanola Nursing Home, and Dr. Allison McMillan. An extra special thank you to the Nurses and PSW’s for Lorraine’s excellent and loving care over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Espanola Nursing Home foundation would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
