The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Lorraine Bisson (née Legault) on Saturday January 25th, 2025 at the Golden Manor Timmins at the tender age of 79 years.
Predeceased by her adoring husband, Léo Bisson (2019).
She is survived by her loving daughter Lise Soucy (Luc), her beloved sons Yvon Bisson and Marc Bisson (Karen Bélanger); her cherished grandchildren Ken Soucy, Karen Soucy, Sarah Bisson (Spencer Cluett), Jayden Bisson (Abigail Jensen) and Bradley Bélanger (Emily Everard); her beloved great-grandchildren Ethan and Emma Soucy, Layla and Landon Cluett and Ryder Bélanger.
She is also survived by her brothers René Legault, Paul Legault (Darlene) and Michel Legault (Carole); her sisters Claudette Savard (Armand) and Angèle Boucher (Robert); her sisters-in-law, Cecile Dutrisac, Colette Bisson, Marguerite Krakana, Claire Cormier (Jerry), Louise Brownrigg and Yvonne Mercier (Rick) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Antonio (1991) and Rita (2003) Legault; her Baby brother Joseph (1951), her beloved great-grandson Cayden Cluett (2020) as well as her niece Bonnie Legault (1992).
The family would like to thank the staff at the Golden Manor Special Care unit, for her excellent care during her two-year stay.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 29, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:15 am at the LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. Funeral service will be celebrated at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception at the LESSARD Reception Centre.
Remembrance donations to the Breast Cancer Canada or Alzheimer Society Cochrane Temiskaming-Timmins-Porcupine would be greatly appreciated.
