BITNER, Lori Marie – It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Lori Marie on February 28th, 2025. Cherished daughter of Barry and Joanne Bitner. Beloved sister of Bob (Gina), Jaime (Dan) and Mark (Trisha). Loving aunt to Josh, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Tucker, Nolan and Landen. Great aunt to Maverick, Myles and Jackson. Dear niece of Brenda Buckingham and Bonnie Bitner. Cousin of Mike (Michelle) Lucy. Predeceased by her grandparents Raymond and Majorie Bitner, Jack and Marie Williams, aunt Judy Lucy and cousin Brian Lucy.
Lori’s greatest passion in life were her horses, and she will be dearly missed by her many friends in the horse community.
Lori was a valued employee of WestJet Airlines for the past 12 years as a flight attendant.
She spent many years living in Calgary before returning home to be with her family.
Lori will be forever remembered for her love and dedication to her family and all the fur babies she has loved over the years.
On behalf of our family, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to all the first responders, the Welland emergency medical staff and the St. Catherine’s I.C.U department.
Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne.
As per Lori’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the S.P.C.A or charity of one’s choice.
