It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Loretta Marie Saulnier (Pyke) on March 21st 2025. She peacefully left this world, surrounded by her family, and the love she so richly experienced and gave to others throughout her life. She was the devoted wife of Guy Saulnier, the love of her life, and a cherished mother to her three daughters, Megan (Dan), Melissa (Justin) and Michelle (Connor). One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to Autumn, Ruby, Gabriel and Oliver, whom she adored endlessly.
Born to Lewis and Isobel Pyke, she now joins them in heaven. Loving sister of Monica, Theresa, Debbie, Felicia, Joey and Raymond – and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Always providing love, laughter and strength. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds. Her home was a sanctuary, offering warmth and safety to all who shared it with her family and to the friends who were welcomed through its door. Loretta’s love, her spirit, and the beauty of the life she shared with us will live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories we made. Loretta was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Loretta’s love was deep and unending, to list all those who felt its embrace would be an impossible feat, but we are so grateful for your presence in her life, and the joy you brought her.
In celebration of her life, there will be a visitation March 27th from 6-8PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home in Hespeler. A service will be held in her memory on March 28th at the Lounsbury Funeral home at 11 AM with visitation prior from 10:30-11AM, followed by a reception at Hespeler Royal Canadian Legion (26 Schofield St) around 12:30.
Loretta’s family will be forever grateful for the compassionate care she and they received from the team at Hospice Wellington. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to Hospice Wellington, in recognition of the exceptional support they provided during this time.
