Lois passed away suddenly at London University Hospital following a short illness.
Lois was born in Tillsonburg. She was predeceased by her parents Frances (2008) and Joseph (2019) and grew up along side brother Paul (Linda), sister Joan (Tom), and brother Alan (Darren), in Preston (Cambridge, ON). Lois really enjoyed her nieces and nephews; Abbey, Alex, Adam, Aaron and Amy. Lois will also be missed by her ex-wife (but best of friends) Margie.
Growing up at the family cottage on Eels Lake held many fond memories for Lois and the rest of the rest of the family. Time on the water, fishing, waterskiing, swimming, playing with the neigbours, canoeing and dominating events at the regatta, filled our summers.
Lois had a great love of music and spent many a campfire strumming her guitar and leading a sing-a-long. Always the life of the party at any gathering, this was probably Lois’ defining characteristic. Her love of animals showed throughout her life, especially through her pet dogs.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses at London’s University Hospital as they cared for Lois in her last days.
A private family gathering for Lois will be held at a later date.
