With sadness we announce that Lloyd Jarvis, in his 102nd year, passed away on Thursday March 13, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton.
He was a much-loved husband, father, and grandfather.
Lloyd grew helping in his father’s bake shop in Grimsby. He is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Lloyd loved Labrador Retrievers and was a professional field trial trainer and founding member of the Niagara Peninsula Retriever Club. He raised puppies and competed and judged field trials throughout North America. His most famous dog Mi Cris Sailor was the American National Field Champion in 1971.
Cremation has taken place.
