SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB—Livain Richard, 76, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent, NB, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family,
at La Villa Maria in Saint-Louis on Tuesday, February 25th, 2025. He
was married to the late Diane (Vautour) Richard (2019). Born in
Saint-Ignace, he was the son of the late Alban and late Delphine
(Comeau) Richard.
Livain will be missed by his two sons, Danny (Shera) of
Geary, NB, and Brian (Laura) of Pictou, NS, and his six grandchildren,
Caleb, Maddox, Abby, Riley, Kayla, and Lucas. He also leaves to mourn
his seven sisters: Eleonore Gravel of Ottawa, Bernice Vautour,
Lucienne Maillet (Maurice), Marie-Anne Gallant (Edmond) of
Saint-Louis, Géraldine McCaie, Hélène
LeBlanc (Florent) of Rogersville, Laurie-Anne Richard (Francis) of
Leominster, MA, his two brothers; Delphin (Agnes) of Gardner, MA, and
Daniel (Marcella) of Saint-Ignace as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Diane, he was
predeceased by two sisters, Julianna and Noëlla, and one
brother, Jean-Paul.
As per Livain’s wishes, there will be no visitation
or reception. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Louis-des-Français R.C. Church in Saint-Louis-de-Kent
on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Thompson
Funeral Home, Richibucto.
