Obituary of Lisa Doran (née Siegel)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Lisa Doran at home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the age of 80.
Beloved mother of Dana Daugherty (Barry Recoskie), Jennifer Simpson (Jim Van Bynen) and Andrea (Mike) Riesebos. Cherished grandmother of Josh Daugherty, Robyn Daugherty (Tyler Frederiksen), Erryn (Walter) Easter, Justin Simpson (Justice Beer), Alyssa Simpson, Brandon Riesebos, Ryan Riesebos and Amber Riesebos. Proud great-grandmother of Emmerson Easter, Norah Easter, Greyson Simpson and Easton Simpson. Dear sister of Robert (Elaine) Siegel and the late Phillip (Rosslyn) Siegel. Loving aunt of Stephanie Siegel, Paul Siegel, Brian Siegel, Mark Siegel and David Siegel. Forever in the hearts of many extended family members and friends. Greatly missed by her dear friend for over 50 years Kim Heyda. Predeceased by her parents Albert & Esther Siegel and her son-in-law Mark Daugherty.
Lisa loved animals, crafting and her social club at Dearness Home. She will be fondly remembered for her great sense of humour along with her kind and loving nature.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shari who was her caregiver and Karen Crowther from VON for all their care and support.
Graveside service and burial will be held at Or Shalom Cemetery, 665 Proudfoot Lane, London, Ontario on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial donations to Dearness Home-Day Program or the London Humane Society in memory of Lisa.
