It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel Isreal “Luigi” Fontaine on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Annette Mary Fontaine (née Lalonde). Loving father of Christopher Fontaine (Cindy) and the late Daniel Fontaine. Loving grandfather of Brooke and Courtney, and great grandfather of 11. He will be sadly missed by his sister Mary Grant (late Keith), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Florian & Regina Fontaine (née Levesque) and his sisters Betty Cayer (late Romeo), Jean Lalonde (late Claude), Fern Fontaine, Rita Neron (late Gordon) and Francis Dufresne (late Alexander). Lionel’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance on Friday, April 112025 from 9 am to 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Church at 11am on Friday, April 11th 2025, at 11 am.
