Obituary of Linwood Paul Veinot
VEINOT, Linwood Paul – Age 65, of Hemford. Passed away on January 22nd, 2025, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater on February 22nd, 1959, he was a son of the late Carmon and Flossie (Smith) Veinot.
Linwood was an avid outdoorsman, spending time in the woods harvesting trees and getting lots of fresh air. He also loved animals.
Linwood will be sadly missed by all his loving family. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Hazel, Beverly (Dolly), Laverne (Bruce), Gladys (Ralph), Richard (Thelma), Leith, Merlin (Laurie), Carroll, Cheryl, and Iris (Vincent). We will always miss you, “Linny”. Rest peacefully.
He was predeceased by parents, Flossie, and Carmon Veinot; grandparents, Ephraim and Mary Veinot, and Faye and Lucy Smith; sisters, Rose, and Evelyn; brothers, Harold, Leon, Dwayne, and Bruce.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday February 8th, 2025, at 2 p.m., in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 Highway 10, New Germany. Rev. David Lutes officiating. Interment will be held in spring 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linwood’s memory may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter, the Hemford and District Fire Department, or the Hemford Cemetery.
