It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of
Linda Marie Bourgeois, which occurred on
Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, at St. Joseph’s
Hospital.
Born on March 19th, 1951, in Springhill, NS, she is the
daughter of the late Hughie and Margaret (Pyke)
Guthro.
In her earlier years, Linda enjoyed knitting and
darts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew
her.
Linda is survived by her daughter Tracy Harrison (Rob) of
Springhill, NS; son James Fenton (Beverley) of Amherst, NS; brother
Gerald Guthro (Nan) of New Brunswick; granddaughter Tori MacKenzie
(Evan); great grandson Maverick and her partner
Victor.
Along with her parents, Linda was predeceased by her infant
sister Brenda.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane
Street, Springhill (902 597 2361). As per Linda’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A
Graveside Service will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill, NS
at a later date.
Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the charity of
choice.
