It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Linda Fitzpatrick of Lawn announces her passing. Linda passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on February 21, 2025 at the age of 62.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband of 43 years, Leonard Fitzpatrick; sons, Jordan (Candice) Fitzpatrick, and Christopher (Amanda) Edwards; 3 grandchildren, Emma, Nyah and Nicholas; mother, Kate Edwards; very special niece, Maressa (Linda’s girl); sister, Connie (Ex) Drake; brothers, Frank (Rosella) Edwards, David Edwards, Scott Edwards and Syl (Margaret Rose) Edwards; sister in law, Michelle (Jamie) Hodge; brothers in law, Keith (Elsie) Fitzpatrick, Ralph Fitzpatrick, Cec Fitzpatrick, Randy Fitzpatrick, Terrance Fitzpatrick, Perry (Donna) Fitzpatrick, Greg (Kathy) Fitzpatrick and Rodney (Christine) Fitzpatrick; aunts, Mary, Donnie (Eli) and Anne (Pad); uncles, Bill (Brenda), Peter (Donnie) and special Uncle Andy Edwards; plus a large circle of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her father, Sylvester Edwards; baby sister, Susan; parents in law, Susan and Martin (Willy) Fitzpatrick, sisters in law, Regina Coombs and Noella Fitzpatrick; as well as the aunts, uncles and cousins of the Walsh And Fitzpatrick family.
A special thank you to Dr. Amoud, Dr. Greenland, The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, the BPHCC, the chemo unit and the Emergency Dept., the amazing ambulance attendants Lawrence and Kimberley for the unwavering support to Linda during her sickness. Thank you to Bonnie Doyle, Carolyn Lambe, Wendy Taylor and Genie Devereau for your amazing support for Linda and anyone else who has been a part of her journey from day one, your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
