Lillian Smith Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Lillian Smith announce her passing on January 7, 2025, at the age of 79.
Lillian will be remembered for her courage and strength, and for her warm, loving nature. Her greatest joy was her family. She treasured any time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian was deeply sentimental, cherishing many memories which she would often share.
Lillian is survived by her loving family – children Shawn (Amy), Thane, Cory (Marla), and Troy (Roxanne); grandchildren Dustin (Kayle), Cody (Kristy) Jordyn, Carson, and Declan; great grandchildren Shy-Anne, Madisyn, Greyson, Oakley, and Archer; as well as four brothers and one sister.
Lillian was predeceased by her loving husband Ernest; her parents Neil and Margaret Nicholson; grandson Daniel; and five brothers and three sisters.
A celebration of Lillian’s life will take place in the spring/summer of 2025.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Brookhaven Care Centre for the compassionate care Lillian received.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her immediate family, siblings, extended family, and her close friend Rose Leveille.
Arrangements are in the care of Everden Rust Funeral Services & Crematorium,
