Born in Waterboro NB, on December 4, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Stella (Ferris) Moss. And wonderful wife of her dear husband Gordon Kennedy who passed away in August of 2024.
Leta spent her childhood living in Mill Cove. Growing up with 5 brothers and 9 sisters, she was one of the younger siblings of the family. Early in her life she spent some time working at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, and following getting married she would look after her home and raise her family.
Leta loved cleaning and cooking and always had something to eat for anyone who dropped by, she loved playing card games like UNO and SkipBo and rarely lost at either of them. Leta loved being with her siblings and their families, she visited them often when she could.
Leta loved attending Church and loved God. She loved reading the Bible, and she was also a woman of prayer, praying for all her family and friends, a true Prayer Warrior!!!
Leta was the sweetest and kindness, and most giving woman, and always had a smile and giggle, and you were always “Dear” to her. She was the greatest Mom you could ever have, and amazing Grandmother and Great Grandmother, and she loved with all her heart!!
