Leslie Emmett Jarvis – Island born and raised passed away peacefully in his home in Toronto, ON at 11:59 a.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. He bravely fought his cancer, living every day to the fullest, no complaints, no regrets.
Good friends Greg & Shawn of Morell, PE flew up to visit Leslie as his health started to fail. Sharing stories of their youth raised his spirits. Leslie said he was happy there would be no more pain, and he appreciated all that we did for him. As he took his last breath by his side was good friend Greg and nieces Irene and Patricia.
Leslie was a strong, determined man who lived his life his way. He loved the horses, hockey, cribbage, cards, and spending time with the family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Warren “Columbia” Jarvis, mother Annie (nee. Marsischuk of Sandy Lake, MN), and siblings Louis, Laura, and Lillian. He is survived by older brothers Lawrence & Lester, sisters Leona, Lyda & Lorraine, and his many nephews and nieces across Canada.
Leslie requested he be laid to rest facing the ballfield in the graveyard located in Morell.
He will be sadly missed.
