Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at age 87. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Herberto Dutra (2001). Loving mother to Ema Dutra-Alvernaz (Leobino Alvernaz), Maria Lucia Sarabando (late husband Jose Sarabando). Also loving grandmother to Emanuel Dutra Alvernaz. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Fernanda Serpa (late husband Fernando Serpa). Nieces and nephews and extended family, and friends. Leonor enjoyed knitting and weekends at the Trailer (Paul Bunyan). The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, N., Cambridge on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6 pm – 9 pm. Rosary to be recited at the Funeral Home at 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 185 Elgin Street, S., Cambridge on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 10 am. Interment to follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, ON. In memory of Leonor, donations made to Cambridge Memorial Hospital or Grand River Cancer Centre, would be greatly appreciated.
