Leonard Alfred Wallis
March 24, 1944 – March 25 2025
Leonard passed away peacefully one day after his 81st birthday. Left to mourn is his loving wife of 58 years Elvira. His brother Ken and family, Sister-in-laws Irma and Muriel, niece Rosemarie and Ryan along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his Mother and Father, Brother-in-laws Stefan and John, and his nephew Tony whom he loved like a son.
Leonard had many great accomplishments throughout his life. At the top of that list, he truly enjoyed his time as head of the Grape and Wine Festival for many years.
He loved and lived all forms of travel and was a true historian of the Niagara Region.
Thank you to the staff at Linhaven. You went above and beyond – I know!
Donations may be made to the Walker Cancer Centre.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday March 30th from 1 until 3 at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, with service at 3 o’clock and refreshments to follow.
