Passed suddenly on December 29, 2024 in his 87th year. He has been reunited with his beloved wife Mary (nee Way) and son John. Len was a loving father to Mary Ann Manley, Joan Brown, Lisa Pannunzio and Kevin; a proud grandfather to Vanessa, Maggie, Mitchell, Michael, Dallas, Maitlyn, Miranda and Savannah; great-grandchildren Kalyna, Jace, Liam, Bentley and Blake; and a kind father-in-law to Brian, Todd, Dan, Gen and Christina. Dear brother of the late Raymond, Wayne, Mabel Pouget and Shirley Fawdry, and is survived by the Way family.
An avid outdoorsman and sportsman, Len lived life with vim and vigour up until his last breath. He loved playing golf, pool, and socializing with his friends at the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club. Len was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.
The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the wonderful individuals from Windsor Police, Firefighters, Paramedics and 911dispatch for their kindness and compassion. A very special thanks to his amazing Remington Park neighbours who all became part of his extended family.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Leonard’s Life will take place at the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday January 11, 2025 from 11am-2pm.
