Obituary of Leo Chalifoux
Peacefully, on Saturday, March 1, 2024, at his home in Prince Albert with family by his side, at age 92. Joseph Leo Henri Chalifoux, beloved husband of the late Helen (nee Clarke). Loved father of Paul Chalifoux of Prince Albert, and Aaron Chalifoux and his wife Denise Redmond of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Aidan and his wife Cristina Cardelus, and Quinn Chalifoux. Dear brother of Louise, Denise, and Rita. Loved brother-in-law of Catherine and her husband the late Edward Daigle of Prince Albert, and Fern and her husband the late Douglas Murray of Kingston. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Leo was born in Sturgeon Falls to the late Albert and Emilie Chalifoux. Leo spent many years as a high school teacher and was a proud member of the Ontario Classical Association.
The Family of Leo Chalifoux will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, Monday March 10th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery in Prince Albert.
