It is with deep sadness that the family of Lelia Nizzero (née Pellichero) announces her peaceful passing on April 6, 2025, at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Luigi Nizzero (predeceased 1988). Lelia will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family.
Cherished mother of Claudio Nizzero (Maria) and Anna Maria Alexander (Bruce). Proud Nonna of Chris Nizzero (Sabrina), Steven Nizzero (Karen), Jenna Beaupre (JP), and Dane Alexander (Marci). Treasured Great Grandmother to her adored great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Mason, Ellie, Grace, Reese, Walter, Avery, and Zoey.
Lelia is also remembered by numerous brothers and sisters in Canada, Italy, and Belgium, as well as her large extended family.
Her legacy of love and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street. Friends may gather after 9:30am on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Road, Sudbury, Saturday April 12th, 2025, at 11am. Interment in the family plot at the Parklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
