Obituary of Lee Ellis
Ellis: Leland Scott –
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Lee Ellis passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, on Friday February 28, 2025 at the age of 66.
Born in Chatham, Lee was the son of the late Orville Ellis and Helen (Hiroko) (Née Yoko) Sobry.
Lee is reunited with the love of his life Marianne.
Loving father to Amber Ellis (Steve Haderer) and Justin Ellis.
Proud Grandpa Lee to Daniel, Donna, Victoria, Lea, Shaun, Kelly and Tsunade.
Dear Brother to Grace (Bill 1996), Tommy and predeceased by siblings Audrey (Jerry 1992), Madeline, Shawn and Laura.
Lee will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Lee was a private man and loved his family deeply. You could find him watching crime TV, or in the kitchen whipping up something delicious.
Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St.Clair St, Chatham on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Cremation to take place with a Graveside Service to be held for Lee at 11:00 am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Lee to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
