Lawrence (Jerry) Kearney was the first born of 12 children to Robert and Helen Kearney of St. Lawrence.
Jerry started work at the tender age of 17 and worked until sickness took him over at the age of 74.
Jerry was a well respected truck driver who was respected by his peers for his knowledge and skill of navigating a tractor trailer. He was a very simple and humble man who enjoyed the simple things in life. Such as a hockey game, he was a die hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and he loved a Blue Jays baseball game. He had a great love and appreciation for antique vehicles and he also loved country music, spending many hours listening to it.
He cherished every moment in life, whether it was big or small. His biggest treasure in life was his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved each and everyone of them in their own special way. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments in life. He was always there for the big moments and the small moments…a true family man!
