Lawrence Benard Johnson

Lawrence Benard Johnson of Camrose, Alberta, formerly of New Norway, Alberta, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the age of 101 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Verle; sons Rodger (Evelyn), and David (Sheila); eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Lawrence was predeceased by his son J. Dennis; parents Ludwig and Louise; and brothers Lenard (Marion), and Gordon.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Rose City Baptist Church, 6406 44b Ave Camrose.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Lawrence’s memory may be made to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Neighbors Outreach Wetaskiwin, or to a charity of one’s choice.
