Laurine Wilson
1933-2025
The death of Laurine Wilson (Killam), age 91, of The Glades,
N.B., occurred on Monday, January 6th, 2025, at
the Jordan LifeCare Centre.
Born in Forest Hill, she was the daughter of the late
Florence May Killam (Douthwright) and Henry Burpee Killam. Laurine
worked for Co-op Atlantic for over 20 years after completing a diploma
in bookkeeping and accounting at NBCC (1972). She loved tending to her
flower gardens, tracking weather patterns, taking bus tours around
regional historical sites, and using her craft talent to create loppie
sweaters, and needle point pictures for her loved ones. Most of all,
she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who
always went the extra mile to have everyone’s favorites
available at each visit.
Laurine is survived by son, Garnett Wilson (Judy MacDonald);
daughter, Debbie Colpitts (Ernie Dunham); grandchildren, Christopher
(Alicia), Amber, Bryce, Kassandra; great-grandchildren Hailey,
Michelle, Andre, and Autumn, and great-great grandson, Dustin, along
with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband,
Leroy Wilson; brother, Howard Killam; sister, Josie Taylor, and
son-in-law, Eric Colpitts.
Laurine is resting at Salisbury Funeral Home (506-372-4800)
with visitation on Friday, January 10 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Her funeral
service, officiated by Lloyd O’Blenis, will be held on
Saturday, January 11 at 11 am at the same location. Interment will be
in The Glades Cemetery.
Donations in her memory are asked to be made to The Jordan
LifeCare Foundation or The Glades Cemetery.
