Kraig passed away peacefully in London, Ontario, surrounded by his family and extended loved ones, after a courageous fight with cancer. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life.
Kraig was the proud father of Justin Cooper, Jayden Cooper, Tye Cooper, and Logan Cooper, and a devoted partner to Lindsay Dolson. He was also deeply loved by his mother, Janet LaPlante, and his brother, Kyle Cooper. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Kraig was predeceased by his favorite Uncle, Mike LaPlante, and his Grandparents, Paul and Julia LaPlante. Their memories remain a cherished part of his life.
For over 25 years, Kraig worked at Toyota where he served as a team leader, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues for his hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment. Kraig was a man who always gave his best, whether it was in his professional life or his personal passions.
An avid sports fan, Kraig had a deep love for the Miami Dolphins, the Toronto Blue Jays, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. His love for sports extended beyond being a fan – he was also a dedicated baseball coach for the Tillsonburg Otters, where he had the opportunity to share his passion for the game with young athletes.
