It is with heavy hearts and immense sorrow that we announce the passing of Konstantinos Dimas, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of 87.
Konstantinos was born in Pasio, Korinthia, Greece on December 15, 1937. He came to Canada with the intent to create a better life, and that is exactly what he did.
On June 6, 1965, Konstantinos married Eleni and they were together for almost 60 years. He was a dedicated and loving father to his daughters Voula and Jessie, and cherished by his son-in-laws George and Ron, respectively. His grandchildren, Vikki, Dina, Spiros, Alexander and Gregory treasured him as a grandfather. Pappou Gus was their biggest chearleader. Konstantinos’ proudest accomplishment was the beautiful family he created.
Konstantinos had a charming personality. As the social butterfly he was, he would make those around him laugh. Even if he seemed opinionated and tough, he was far from that. Above all, he was always there when you needed him most – whether to make you laugh, to help paint your room, to talk about everything and anything, or to give you a big hug when you needed it the most.
Although he is no longer with us, his spirit will always be close to our hearts. The memories and legacy that he leaves behind will never be forgotten and will continue to live on in his children and grandchildren.
