Obituary of Klaus Jurgen Reinhardt
With great sadness the family of Klaus Reinhardt announces that he has now joined his beloved wife Shirley in heaven. Klaus passed away at home on March 5, 2025.
Klaus was pre-deceased by the love of his life Shirley Reinhardt (nee Fischer) in January 2024. Dear father and Opa to his children Michael (Brock, Zachary) their mother Jen, Brian and his Fiancé Jennifer Schutz (Sophia) and her mother Marnie. Will be missed by brothers and sister’s in-law Fred Fischer (Shirley), Roger Fischer (Dar), Eileen Lobsinger (Larry), Gary Fischer (Gerry), Susan Kovrig (Bob), Dennis Fischer, Larry Fischer (Janice), Daniel Fischer, Bonnie Schroth (Alf), and Margie Besselink (Rick), and many nieces and nephews.
Klaus, Born in December of 1943 came to Canada from Tuttlingen, Germany as a 17-year-old and worked for many years as a barber, prior to working at JM Schneiders.
Dad and Mom married in 1965 after a 5-month romance that lasted 58 years. Their love grew stronger every day and they cherished each day together. They adored each other and supported each other through life’s challenges. Dad grieved his love for Shirley every day that he spent without her.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Klaus with his family during the celebration of his life, upstairs at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo, on Saturday March 15 from 11am – 2pm. Interment will take place at a later date.
