The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Ottawa on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the age of 61 years. Beloved wife of Dwayne Craik of Levack. Cherished daughter of Marilyn Richard (née MacDonald) of Elliot Lake and of the late Robert “Bob” Richard. Loving mother of Jessica Craik (Justin Sigouin) of Azilda and Vicky Hisey (Aaron) of Wasaga Beach. Dear sister of Darryl Richard (Carolyn) of Texas, USA, Lynn Blanchette (Rolly) of Elliot Lake and Dan Richard (Amanda) of Medicine Hat, AB. Lovingly remembered by best friends Chantel, late Debbie (late Camille), Tammy, Sheila and Barb. Sadly missed by her canine companion Lily. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will forever be remembered for her love of thrift shopping, walking and her bubbly personality. She will be greatly missed going to camp, which was her happy place on the lake with her family. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations by cheque or online to the Maison McCulloch Hospice in memory of her best friends Debbie and Camille Brosseau will be appreciated.
