Kianna Marie Penner
At the young age of 15 years, she passed peacefully into her savior’s arms on Monday, July 21, 2025, at London Victoria Hospital. Kianna was a bright spot in our home having made very many happy memories with her family like staying up late to talk with her sisters and mother or baking together, singing during chores, playing the keyboard with her sister and playing games together in the back yard. Kianna loved working in the kitchen trying new recipes and decorating cakes. She was known for her sweet cheerful disposition and often willingly offered her help by holding a fussy baby or looking at books with toddlers.
She attended a private school run by the church she attended and thoroughly enjoyed her classmates and teachers. She was smart, quick witted and was planning to graduate high school this coming year. Because she liked learning so much she was 2 grades ahead in school.
Kianna was a Christian who took her faith seriously. She was baptized at the age of 13 and became a member of the Pilgrim Church earlier this year. She is the beloved daughter of Michael and Helena Penner. Dear sister of Rebekah, Charity, Nehemiah, Noah, Matthew, Joshua and Abigail Penner. Cherished granddaughter of Abram and Maria Banman and David and Mary Penner. Great granddaughter of Gerhard and Susan Penner. Kianna will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kendrick Funeral Home, 91 Division Street South, Kingsville. Funeral service to be held at the Mennoniten Germeinde Church, 1771 Talbot Road East, Ruthven, Ontario on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Online memories and condolences may be shared at www.kendrickfuneralhome.com.
