Kerry’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Berwyn resident Kerry Lloyd Coates at the age of 48 on January 7th 2025. Kerry was born in Fairview, Alberta to Ken and Pat Coates on April 22, 1976 and raised in Berwyn his entire childhood.
Kerry was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Walter (Ike) & Eleanor Coates, as well as maternal grandparents Rodney Crumb and Constance Pawluk.
Kerry is survived by his father, Ken (Pat); mother, Pat; daughter, Amber (Damon); brother, Chris; sister, Kelsey (Dusty); niece, Everley; nephews, Haelyn & Roclyn, and his numerous cherished cousins, aunts and uncles.
Kerry worked his life in the oilfield running every piece of heavy equipment necessary all over Alberta and British Columbia, building countless roads and leases. He was most recently working construction in the Yukon.
Kerry was a very proud father and uncle and he will be lovingly missed & remembered for his light hearted spirit and laughter, huge heart, and love for all his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on January 24, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Elks Hall in Berwyn, Alberta.
If friends so desire, donations in Kerry’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
