Kenneth James Walsh Obituary
Kenneth James Walsh, aged 83, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on February 18, 2025. Born in Stratford, he was the son of the late Torrence and Patey Walsh.
Predeceased by his wife Donna (Rickerby) December 4, 2012 and a granddaughter Samantha. Ken is survived by his daughters Lee (Bruce) Robinson, Heather (Patrick) Brathwaite, Jane (Dan) Roks, Christine (Dan) Rogers, Jodi Stephenson. Grandfather of Amy (Chris), Adam (Brittney), Shelby (Jordan), Riley (Jacob), Hannah (Avery), Chace (Abbey), Tyler (Deanna), Terran and Hunter. Great grandfather of Ben, Maggie, Cillian, Lennon, Kol and Eloise. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ken spent many active years in community sports while his girls were growing up. He loved to fish and golf.
A private family graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations in Ken’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
