Kenneth George Williams

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our Dad, Husband, Father-in-law, Grandfather, Poppie, Great-grandfather, mentor and friend, peacefully with family by his side, on May 9, 2025. Survived by his wife Connie of 48 years, brother Karl (Carole) of Illinois, step daughter Marylyn Csordas, step daughter and son in law Cindy “Spring” and Dave Moylan.
He will be missed by his grandchildren Michael (Crystal) and Christopher. He was Poppie to Jack (Nicole), Kiera (Mitch) and Aly. When they came to Poppie’s they were treated to waffles, meatloaf or mac and cheese and a card game. He was blessed with great grandchildren Kaylee, Emma and most recently Leif Kenneth, born to Jack and Nicole on April 15th and adorned with his namesake.
Ken’s first passion was his family. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, baseball, hockey and soccer. He was their biggest fan and often helped with rides and lent a hand to help with homework. He modelled a strong work ethic and instilled that family always came first.
Ken’s life began in sales, first the car business then Williams Tobacco Equipment where he manufactured steamers for the local tobacco farmers. His final 35-year career was in Real Estate starting with Dan Sanders at Re/Max concluding with John Newton at J.E. Newton Realty Limited.
Ken thanks the Lord for this wonderful journey of life. In his words, “The next stop will have to be good to top this one”. BFN, LP
Cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Jessica’s House, Exeter and can be done directly with each charity online or via cheque payable to the charity by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519) 842-5221.
