Kelvin Bruce Gooda Obituary
Bruce Gooda passed away January 30, 2025, at the Birtle Care home with his girls by his side.
Bruce was born May 16, 1954, to Frank and Dorothy (Jackson) Gooda. He was raised on the family farm west of Binscarth with his 5 siblings.
Eventually Bruce would take over that farm and start a family of his own. Later Bruce and his family would move to Birtle and start a P.M.U farm, once P.M.U came to an end the barn was turned into a giant shop / storage. This is where he would start up sandblasting and painting, eventually fulfilling his dream of collecting and restoring old tractors, steam engines, and the infamous Rumley. The shop was also a great place for family and friends to gather for cards, and a drink (soup). Dad’s Happy place.
Bruce was loved by so many friends and family, especially his daughters; Stacey (Julian) Gooda, and Brittany (Drew) Gooda. His grandkids Evan and Frankie Revet. Siblings Dawn Nachtigall, Hope (Gary) Keizer, David (Judy) Gooda, Gwen Gooda, Phyllis (Rex) Fisher. Nephews and Nieces, Kelvin (Layna) Nachtigall, kids Emily and Kyler. Pam (Steve) Allen. Darin (Danille) Gooda, kids Jordan and Lennon. As well as multiple cousins near and far.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Frank and Dorothy Gooda, and brother in-law Grant Nachtigall.
Thanks goes out to the Birtle Care home staff for taking such great care of our dad.
