In loving memory of Keith (Allan Lee) Jones who passed away at the age of 79.
Husband of Carole, predeceased by parents Ellen and Robert Jones as well as both sisters, Roberta Knisley of Edmonton and Loris Walker of Vancouver. He will be missed by nieces, nephews and friends.
Keith was born in Port Arthur, Ontario then remained in Thunder Bay before working summers with the railroad in Ignace, Ontario, moving briefly to Toronto for summer work, studying at Ryerson and hiring on at Inco in 1970. He worked in the electrical/hoisting fields within the company, retiring in 2000.
Keith enjoyed trains in all forms…travelling on them, videos, and collecting models to run on tracks; he also was a great fan of Nascar racing.
He was a handyman at home and at camp. He also pampered and cared for his Shelties, Nemo and Carlee with faithful daily walks.
Deeply missed by Carole.
Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to St. Joseph’s Villa staff in the Hillcrest neighbourhood for dedicated and compassionate care over the last 15 months.
Per Keith’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation and internment in the family niche at Lasalle Cemetery to follow.
