Our entire family is saddened to announce that Kathryn Elizabeth Kelly (nee Stoutenburg) has unfortunately passed away on the morning of Friday January 3, 2025, in her 71st year. She went peacefully in her sleep at home due to complications from COPD.
She was the loving and devoted mother of Devin Kelly and Meaghan Kelly: beloved and dedicated grandmother of Jack Kelly; daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Stoutenburg of Collingwood; youngest and cherished sister of Wendy Redman and Gail Middlebrook of Collingwood; sister in law of John Redman and the late William Middlebrook; adored aunt of Marcus Barber, Shelley Middlebrook, Michael Middlebrook and Shelley Rainey-Middlebrook; treasured great aunt of Madison Goliboski, Sydney Middlebrook, Isabella Wismer; and much loved friend to many.
Kathy was formerly married to Frank Kelly originally of Glasgow, Scotland, now residing in Collingwood.
She was wonderful and genuine, a precious soul to many and will be so deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood on Sunday January 19, 2025, from 2-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathy’s name to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
