It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen Elizabeth Prosser, who left us peacefully on March 13th, 2025, with family by her side. She is now reunited with her adoring husband, Alex, who was the love of her life for 65 years.
Kathleen was the cherished mother of Karen Wright and Joanne Raso (Gino). Devoted grandmother to Alycia (Vince), Jonathan, Katie, and Marisa. She was blessed to meet and adore her first great-grandchild, Gianna Macri. Remembered by her niece Pamela Bergerson (Les), and their children Bradd (Marina) and Jenna (Giovanni).
Kathleen carried with her a warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met. She gave unconditional love and fierce protection over her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who loved her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON L3R 5G1, on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at Central United Church, 131 Main St. Unionville, Markham, ON L3R 2G3, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Kathleen’s memory.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
